Riding the coattails of a huge Division Championship during the 2017 Entertainment Series Metric, Transparent seemed to only have the sky as the limit. A fifth season was on deck to kickoff and the Amazon Prime Division Champion was hailed an early favorite in the 17-18 Red Report Pre-Season Polls. Then on November 8 the series lead actor Jeffery Tambor was pressed on sexual harassment claims. The media swarm surrounding the allegations was so severe that the actor decided to walk away from the show for good thus ending what seemed to be a franchise reaching its peak. With the show's content itself highlighted around trendy social topics its ironic that the show's demise came at such a cost. The #metoo movement has and will forever change the climate of Hollywood, an industry not so transparent but on the path to.
